Gene Moyers studied European and Medieval history at University of Oregon. He is a former U.S. Army armor crewman. He worked in the high tech industry for some time and ran a store front and internet hobby shop for several years.

An avid military gamer and role player, his favorite game was Daredevils roleplaying, set in the 1930s. His love affair with the 1930s, and pulps in particular, stems from his first reading of a Shadow novel as a boy. Although interested in writing since a teen, he did not turn to serious writing until 2000. He is the co-author of GURPS Crusades, published by Steve Jackson Games. When not working on new Noir and Pulp stories for projects like Airship 27, he is busy writing horror adventures for his original swashbuckling character set in Colonial America.

Gene currently lives in Beaverton, Oregon, with his wife and two lazy dogs.
